The cabin has been created as a comfortable private retreat for two.
Inside, high timber ceilings and warm natural finishes frame views of the surrounding bush and farmland. The queen bed sits beside a wide opening to the landscape, while the kitchenette, lounge and bathroom give you everything you need for an easy hinterland escape.
Step outside to your own rooftop deck for morning coffee or sunset drinks, or settle in beside the firepit as the evening cools.
The cabin includes a queen bed, kitchenette, lounge area, walk-in shower, composting toilet, rooftop deck, outdoor firepit and Wi-Fi.
Your own corner of Red Truck Farm
The cabin sits away from the main farmhouse in a private part of our 50-acre property.
Around you are paddocks, bushland, the farm dam and views towards the surrounding mountains. Our Highland cattle live on the farm and may wander through nearby paddocks during your stay.
This is a working rural property rather than a resort. You may see cattle, wildlife and occasional farm activity — all part of staying at Red Truck Farm.
A little off the beaten track
Part of what makes the cabin feel so secluded is its location.
The final section of the journey is along an unsealed 4WD-only farm track. Guests arriving in a suitable 4WD can drive directly to the cabin.
If you're travelling in a standard vehicle, please contact us before booking. We may be able to arrange a transfer between the main property and the cabin at agreed arrival and departure times.
Track conditions can change after heavy rain, and we'll let you know before arrival if weather is likely to affect access.
Before you book
The cabin accommodates a maximum of two guests.
Red Truck Farm is a working property, and access to livestock paddocks and other private farm areas is not included with your stay.
The cabin uses a modern composting toilet.
Firepit use is subject to weather conditions, fire restrictions and total fire bans.
Highland cattle may be visible during your stay, but a cabin booking does not include animal interaction.
Mobile reception can vary in the hinterland.
I'd keep this section visibly understated — perhaps an accordion rather than a large text block.
